PUTRAJAYA - The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has summoned Tun Daim Zainuddin’s wife and their two sons in relation to its probe into the former finance minister.

Daim's family lawyer, N Rajesh, confirmed the matter.

"Yes, we will be there around 10.30am to give statements," he told The Star.

Last month, MACC seized the 60-storey Ilham Tower, reportedly belonging to Daim and his family, under Section 38(1) of the MACC Act 2009 which deals with the seizure of immovable property.

MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki later revealed that the agency was probing Daim for alleged corruption and money laundering.
