Girl died after being impaled by clothesline wire

GOMBAK - A five-year-old girl died after she was believed to have been impaled in the neck with a clothesline wire while playing at her family's residence in an apartment near Batu Caves, here, last Saturday.
In the 2.30pm incident, the victim was pronounced dead while receiving treatment at the Tunku Azizah Hospital (HTA) Kuala Lumpur.
Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said an investigation found that the victim was playing with the wire in their house.
"While playing, the victim was impaled on the neck with the iron.
"The victim was rushed to a nearby clinic before being taken to HTA, but was pronounced dead," he said on Tuesday.
Hussein added the case was investigated in accordance with Section 31(1)(a) of the Children Act 2001.
