SHAH ALAM - Women, Family and Community Development Deputy Minister Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad shared a frightening experience when the plane she was on failed to land on three attempts.

The incident took place near the Sultan Ismail Petra Airport (LTSIP), Kota Bharu, Kelantan when she, who is also the Rubber Industry Smallholders Development Authority (Risda) chairman wanted to attend the agency's programme there.

As a result of the incident, the plane had to turn back to Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (LTSAAS), Subang, Selangor.

The Parit Sulong Member of Parliament said she could not describe her feelings when they were up in the air.

“It was a scary experience. The pilot attempted to land three times.

"The aircraft was making rounds. All the feelings are there. Wanting to cry, wanting to vomit...It was very scary," she said in a post on Facebook on Saturday.

Noraini added that eventually, the plane had to turn back to LTSAAS because it ran out of fuel.

"I have never experienced such a scary experience.
