Sinar Daily inks MoU with Business Synergy

CYBERJAYA - Sinar Daily has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Business Synergy to forge strategic collaborations in empowering businesses.

The MoU was signed by Sinar Karangkraf chief executive officer (CEO) Farah Hussamuddin and Business Synergy CEO Aiman Hakim Nordin on Dec 12 recently during Connectd 4.0 - networking and pitching event.

The signing, held at RekaScapes, Cyberjaya, was witnessed by Sinar Karangkraf head of strategy and operations Naquiah Muhammad Noor and Isosynergy Holdings business development manager Nuraini Sedek.

Aiman said the MoU aimed to bring together professionals on a platform where they can collaborate, share knowledge and network, while making the most of their combined expertise.

He also said that the event sought to introduce fresh perspectives and innovative approaches and nurture a community-driven environment aligned with the objectives of Sinar Daily’s platform.

"This event marks a pivotal stride towards establishing a collaborative network for entrepreneurs and business owners seeking expanded reach and business promotion.

"Through the Connectd platform and Sinar Daily's press presence, it presents an unparalleled opportunity for mutual growth and exposure.

“Therefore, participants can look forward to insightful discussions, valuable networking opportunities and a platform aimed at catalysing innovation and business advancement,”he said, stressing the significance of collaborative efforts in today's dynamic business landscape.

With the participation of over 200 industry business owners, non-governmental organisations, government agencies and investors, Aiman was confident the gathering would foster collaborative endeavours and branding initiatives through strategic partnerships.

Meanwhile, Sinar Karangkraf head of marketing and branding Nik Justin Nik Mohd Ariffin said the MoU between Sinar Daily and Business Synergy was a significant step forward by the online news portal towards playing the central role as bridge or platform for aspiring young entrepreneurs and startup companies to connect with the mainstream media.

“This collaboration will create a cohesive partnership and empower the business industry towards a healthier entrepreneurship ecosystem in Malaysia.

“New businesses needs an outlet that can better amplify and support them thrive and what better way than to work hand in hand with the media to further strengthen the industry's ecosystem towards benefiting the people,” he said.

Connectd 4.0 was the grand finale for the Connectd networking and pitching series for 2023, which included two new agendas - workshops and classes focused on funding alternatives - compared to its previous three events.

The event, which started at 2pm and ended at midnight, was focused on creating meaningful connections amongst the professionals from various sectors, engage in insightful conversations, exchange industry knowledge, and gain fresh perspectives; as well as inspire and create growth among industry leaders and entrepreneurs.
