Man complains over RM50 squid meal in Sabah
KOTA KINABALU - A Facebook user is asking people to be careful when eating at a restaurant in downtown Kota Kinabalu after being charged RM50 for a squid in his meal.
The post on social media also included a picture of a plate of rice with the sweet squid and vegetables along with a receipt of the total which amounted to RM75 worth of food.
The post from account owner Hussin TJ Abdullah also displayed the name of the restaurant he visited.
"Be careful if you eat here, they just put whatever price they fancy, I'm not the only one who has to suffer like this, others also have suffered like me.
"To those who have never been here, if you can, don't come. Your pockets will be empty later," he wrote on Facebook.
His post then received various reactions from netizens who were surprised by the price of the sweet squid on the receipt.
Some even suggested that he buy squid at the market where the price is cheaper than at the restaurant.
