KLANG - The woman found buried in cement in the bathroom of a rental house in Pandamaran, Klang may have been murdered over a year ago.

Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said investigations were still underway.

"Yes, it's true (she may have been killed more than a year ago), two male suspects who are being hunted are suspected of cementing the bathroom in that rented house.

"These two suspects being hunted rented the house from 2019 to 2021, we are still identifying the motive of the murder," he said when contacted on Tuesday.

On Monday, Hussein said that the police were tracking two foreign men identified as Ranjit Singh and Manjeet Singh to help investigate the case.

The discovery was made following a police report lodged by the house owner on Sunday, before the police requested the help of the fire department to break the cement and remove the victim's body.

In the meantime, he said, the woman's identity was still under investigation as the post-mortem process would be carried out at Shah Alam Hospital.

"Wait for the results of the autopsy," he said.

The police have recorded the statements of three individuals including the owner of a rental house in Kampung Pendamar.

A 53-year-old foreign male was arrested and remanded for seven days to assist in the investigation.
