Woman's body found buried in cement
KLANG - Residents around Kampung Pendamar, Pandamaran, were shocked when the body of a woman was found buried in cement in the bathroom of a rental house near here on Sunday.
An individual who refused to be identified said that he found out about the discovery of the body after seeing the presence of police and firemen in front of the house.
"At around 9.30pm I saw many policemen and firemen around the scene of the incident.
"They were also seen taking out some lumps of clay and a package believed to be the body of the woman," he said on Monday.
The resident who has lived near the house for more than 30 years, said that the body was believed to be cemented in the bathroom area.
"I believe that the firemen helped to break the cement to remove the body.
"The cemented area is the toilet of the house; the tenant previously claimed that the toilet often leaked," he said.
The atmosphere surrounding the discovery was quiet, despite residents being surprised by the gruesome discovery.
Another resident who declined to be identified said that this area had never seen such an incident.
"In this area, there are foreigners who rent, but there are not many of them, and they have never caused any problems before.
"I was also surprised when I heard there was an incident like this. I hope the police can quickly arrest the perpetrators involved," he said.
Meanwhile, Selangor Police Chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan, when contacted, confirmed the incident.
"Investigations are being conducted under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
"The body of the victim, who we believe to be a foreign woman, is currently undergoing an autopsy at Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital, Klang," he said.
He said that the police are currently tracking two foreign men for further investigations regarding the incident.
