KUALA LUMPUR - J-Kom Assistant Officer Abdul Wahab Abdul Kadir Jilani, who was involved in the controversial leaked video with former Director-General Datuk Mohammad Agus Yusoff, has confirmed that 'Mr H,' the individual who allegedly hired him to record the video, is the same person summoned by the police.

Wahab's lawyer, Faizal Rahman, stated that Wahab confirmed 'Mr H's identity during his conversation with the police to assist in the investigation.

"We (Wahab) confirm that the individual (alleged as 'Mr H') summoned by the police earlier is the same person.

"The police previously mentioned that Wahab only needed to appear and confirm the identity of 'Mr H,' and it has been fulfilled," Faizal told reporters at the Federal Police Headquarters today.

On November 17, Wahab revealed at a press conference that he recorded a conversation with Agus at the behest of 'Mr H.'

However, Wahab claimed that the video had been edited before being circulated on social media.

Following Wahab's statement, the police called in the individual believed to be 'Mr H' to record a statement.

Faizal informed that Wahab appeared as a witness following a report made by Agus.

When asked about 'Mr H's identity, Faizal confirmed that the individual is still employed at J-Kom but declined to provide further details.

Meanwhile, Faizal added that Wahab, who had previously reported experiencing depression, is showing signs of improvement but still requires medical attention.

He said Wahab would be filing a police report against 'Mr H' soon.

"Wahab will make a police report either tomorrow or the day after, the location is yet to be determined, but we assure you that this case will be resolved as soon as possible.

"He (Wahab) is still feeling apprehensive, but his condition is stable," he added.
