Influencer teacher passes away while leading exercise session

SHAH ALAM - A teacher and influencer, Mohd Khariri Ramli, affectionately known as Teacher Ery, passes away while conducting an exercise session at Tasik Tropicana Aman Rimbayu this morning.

The news of the 46-year-old teacher’s passing was shared by Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Bukit Tinggi Headmaster Adlin Amir Hamzah, who said that the deceased, who served as an afternoon session teacher, had reportedly suffered a heart attack.

"He passed away while leading an exercise session with a group at Tasik Tropicana Aman Rimbayu.

"Paramedics confirmed his death. We are awaiting the arrival of the police for further action.

"The deceased's family has been contacted," according to the post shared on Facebook today.

Adlin, at the same time, hoped that no false news would be spread regarding Teacher Ery's passing.

"Please wait for news from us, the school authorities and Teacher Ery's friends," he said.

Teacher Ery was formerly known as Cikgu Erin and shared his journey transitioning from a crossdresser before he returned to his true male identity.

Meanwhile, many social media users who knew the deceased conveyed their condolences, expressing shock at the sudden news of his passing.

"Allahuakbar... Innalilahiwainahirojiun... shocked to receive news about a good friend who was always involved in Zumba at MAIS (Selangor Islamic Religious Council) programmes has died.

"May the funeral process be ease and may he be placed in paradise... amen," said social media user Zureen Yusof.

Meanwhile, an acquaintance known as Muhd Putra Shukri, announced that Teacher Ery's remains were expected to be buried in Ulu Kuang today.
