Bersatu AGM: Faizal Azumu shares five guiding principles to members
NURHIDAYAH HAIROM, NURUL HUDA HUSAIN, & DIANA AZISSHAH ALAM - Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) deputy president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu shares five guiding principles with party members, particularly those in Armada and Srikandi, to serve as valuable life principles.
He said these five principles were: love for knowledge, practice of moral values, courage, obedience and loyalty, and faith.
"Bersatu is shaping the construction of a landmark of a brilliant nation's civilization. Srikandi and Armada are the thinkers and movers.
"These movers will ensure the aspirations of national development become a reality, and to fulfil these responsibilities, we must first have high moral values.
"We must despise the trait of greed, prioritising oneself. We must always move with a full sense of goodness, considering the needs of many before our own needs," he said.
He said during the launching of Bersatu Armada and Srikandi's 6th Annual General Assembly at the Ideal Convention Centre (IDCC) here on Thursday.
Also present were party vice-president Datuk Dr Mohd Radzi Jidin, Srikandi Chief Datuk Seri Rina Mohd Harun, Armada Chief Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal, and secretary-general Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin.
Faizal added that both wings have played a crucial role since the party's inception until now.
He said Armada and Srikandi were also the main drivers of the party's expansion of influence and membership.
"Our party is getting stronger and able to attract the support of the people, and it is now clear that we have successfully gained solid support, especially from the Malay-Bumiputera community," he said.
