'The real human shield, lunch lady', overweight IDF soldier shamed while dancing on TikTok

SHAH ALAM - An overweight Israel Defence Forces (IDF) soldier is being trolled online after sharing a video of her dancing on TikTok.

The video which was reposted on X with the caption “She must be a member of Israel’s special unit” garnered its fair share of sarcastic comments, with most social media users making comments in regards to her body size.

Some X users made reference to the free food provided by McDonald’s to Israeli soldiers in their comments on the video saying that “It’s all the free McDonalds they are handing out to the soldier” and “She is taking advantage of the free McDonalds and that’s a good thing”.

Others made comments on which unit she belonged to in the IDF such as “I think she’s the whole unit”, “SS unit, Special Snack Division” and “Specialised in controlling food traffic and transporting it away from Gaza” among others.

An X user wrote “She has a very important role. She always goes in first as a shield to protect others” while another user commented “Israel will be using her once they are out of missiles”.

The video has 728,000 views and garnered 6,530 likes and has been retweeted 1,405 times.

More than 10,000 Palestinians have been killed in 31 days of relentless Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.

According to reports, Palestinian health officials said the death toll has risen to at least 10,022 Palestinians, including 4,104 children.

It was reported that many victims were still trapped beneath the rubble as the Israeli bombardment of the besieged territory intensified, with no signs of a ceasefire.
