Man injured after motorcycle rammed by wife’s love scandal
SYAMILAH ZULKIFLISEREMBAN – A man was not only emotionally hurt when his wife cheated on him, but sustained injuries when the third party rammed over him with a car on Thursday.
In the 9.40pm incident, Tee Seng Keat, 35, attempted to chase the car his wife was in with another man before he was rammed, which resulted in severe injuries to his head, arms and legs.
He suspected that his 29-year-old Vietnamese wife had been involved with another man since she left the house two weeks ago.
"At that time, my wife told me she was going to her sister's house, but I found out she was actually in Melaka.
"When I confronted her about lying, she filed a police report.
"Since then, I haven't seen her, except on Oct 21, when she came to our salon.
"When I checked her phone, I found romantic messages with another man," he said when interviewed by the Seremban Jaya assemblyman, P Gunasekaran at his office today.
However, when he questioned his wife further about the matter and asked her to discuss divorce, she appeared to be very afraid.
Tee said that on the same day, the man also came to his salon to discuss the matter and made threats.
"I was quite surprised because he told me either want to resolve the matter with gangsters or the police before leaving.
"Last Thursday, my wife called to meet at the salon but when I arrived, she had come with the other man," he said.
However, he stated that the man sped away in his car, prompting him to chase them on his motorcycle to resolve the issue.
He added that when they reached a traffic light at Jalan Rasah before entering the Port Dickson Toll, the car hit him, causing him to fall.
"I got up and screamed for them to stop, but they ignored me and attempted to hit me again by reversing the car.
"They then sped off, and I tried to hold onto the car's rear spoiler but fell when they entered the highway," he said, adding that he had filed a police report.
The father of two said he never expected his wife, whom he had been married to for seven years, to act in such a way, especially when they had never had any serious problems before.
"I don't know how long they've been involved, but I'm truly hurt by being treated this way," he said.
Meanwhile, Seremban District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Arifai Tarawe stated that they received the man's report last Friday and the case was being investigated under Section 498 of the Penal Code for enticing a married woman with ill intent.
"Members of the public with any information about this incident can contact the investigating officer Inspector Muhammad Faizal at 013-3611854 or the Seremban District Police Headquarters at 06-6033222," he said.
