Najib admitted to HKL after testing positive for Covid-19

SHAH ALAM - Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has been admitted to Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) after testing positive for Covid-19.
His special officer Muhamad Mukhlis Maghribi said that Najib was sent to the hospital on Tuesday after complaining of a fever.
"Doctors confirmed that Najib was positive for the virus," he reportedly said.
In a statement to Awani, Mukhlis said that Najib is in stable condition and is undergoing quarantine and treatment at HKL.
He expressed his deepest appreciation to Kajang Prison and HKL for their prompt medical care.
Najib is currently serving a 12-year prison sentence for abuse of power and six counts of money laundering and criminal breach of trust related to the SRC International Sdn Bhd case.
