SHAH ALAM - A Palestinian man currently residing in Malaysia shared the harrowing experience of his family's home being bombed by the Israeli army, forcing them to evacuate to safety.

Yousef K O Abuassi, 28, who has lived in Malaysia for the past eight years, described how he managed to contact his mother in Gaza to inquire about the condition of his family, which includes his twelve siblings.

He revealed that the Israeli regime had cut off the supply of electricity, water, and the internet for three days, adding to the distressing situation.

"I called my mother, and she informed me that they were in the middle of the road because Israel had bombed our house," he said.

In a live Instagram broadcast on Tuesday with social media personality Hazeman Huzir, Yousef expressed his anguish, saying, "How can I bear this sadness, knowing that my mother and siblings are sleeping on the streets, and everyone is rushing to the hospital, school, or church that has also been bombed?"

When asked about his perspective on other Arab nations appearing neutral, Yousef, as a Palestinian, referred to the Quran, highlighting the need for patience and faith in God in such dire circumstances.

He recognised the humiliation that Muslims have endured due to the situation in Palestine, particularly with the al-Aqsa Mosque, and he believed that most Muslim leaders have remained silent in the face of the oppressive Zionist administration out of fear of the United States government.

Yousef stressed that the ongoing conflict with Israel is not solely about securing the rights of Palestinians and defending the al-Aqsa Mosque but concerns Muslims worldwide.
