'Friends' actor Matthew Perry dies at 54
SHAH ALAM - Friends star Matthew Perry dies at the age of 54, believed to be due to drowning.
The prominent actor was reportedly found dead in a jacuzzi at his home in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Times reported that emergency services were rushed to his residence following a distress call, which was first reported as a cardiac arrest.
It was also further said that no drugs were found at the scene.
In his last Instagram entry six days ago, Perry ironically posted a photo of him chilling in the pool, captioning it, "Oh, so warm swirling around makes you feel good? I'm Mattman.
The actor is well-known for his role as Chandler Bing on the hit television series Friends, which ran for 10 years from 1994 until 2004.
Perry received a Primetime Emmy nomination in 2002 for his performance in the sitcom.
Throughout his career, Perry also appeared in various other TV shows and movies, including Growing Pains, Boys Will Be Boys, Growing Pains, The West Wing, 17 Again, and Fools Rush.
