Actor Badrul Muhayat dies

SHAH ALAM – Actor Badrul Muhayat Ahmad Jailani dies in his sleep earlier today.
The news was shared by actress Anne Abdullah through her Facebook account and a message on the WhatsApp application.
Anne said that Badrul was found unconscious at a homestay in Penang by his wife, Norhayati Zulkapli.
Badrul along with several celebrities including actress Aida Aris who is a member of the Gagasan Transformasi Anak Seni (GTAS) were in Penang for a carnival in Seberang Perai.
"The body is still at the homestay in Penang and is now awaiting the next process. Badrul's wife is in the process of filing a police report.
"Badrul was found unconscious by his wife after she tried to wake him from sleep.
"They shared a homestay with Aida Aris, so Aida informed me about this," he told Sinar Harian through a voice recording on WhatsApp.
Badrul and Norhayati got married last April and have yet to hold a marriage reception.
Through his previous marriage with Julia Daud, Badrul had two children - Nur Delisha, 16, and Badrul Hidayat, 13.
