UN votes in favour of humanitarian truce in Gaza, here's the full list

SHAH ALAM - A nonbinding resolution calling for a ‘humanitarian truce’ in Gaza that would end hostilities between Israel and the Hamas government in Gaza was accepted by the United Nations General Assembly on Friday.

This was the first UN response to the war.

On Friday, 193 member nations cast their votes in favour of the ceasefire resolution on the Gaza conflict, with the aim of protecting people and honouring their legal and humanitarian commitments.

Malaysia was one of the 120 countries that voted in favour of the ceasefire, which included our neighbours Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, and Indonesia.

World ICC issues arrest warrants for Netanyahu, Gallant, Hamas leader Deif
The ICC's pre-trial chamber accused Netanyahu and Gallant of committing "crimes against humanity and war crimes" between at least Oct 8, 2023 and May 20, 2024, the date when the prosecution submitted the arrest warrant applications.

The aim is to "help promote Palestine's statehood at the international level" and encourage other nations to follow the example of Spain, Ireland, Norway and Slovenia.
