SHAH ALAM - Israeli content creators have been participating in a trend of making videos making fun of Palestinians who are suffering without water and electricity, which is a result of Israel's full-fledged blockade on Gaza.

In the videos, the Israelis were seen among others drinking water and flicking the lights on and off to mock the Palestinians' sufferings.

The videos in which some of them also featured Israeli children, received online backlash as some viewers commented that it was a form of indoctrination of the children besides the videos being morally depraved.

One of the videos which sparked a wave of controversy was that of Israeli Special Effects Artist Eve Cohen when she mocked the Palestinians who were caught in relentless bombings in Gaza accusing them of faking the recent atrocities done by Israel.

In the video, Cohen was seen donning a keffiyeh (a chequered black and white scarf that is usually worn around the neck or head) and used talcum powder and tomato ketchup pretending they were blood and debris from the destruction of the bombings.

Meanwhile, in a 'POV' (point of view) video posted by Israeli influencer Matanel Laiany, he poked fun at the Palestinians for not having water and electricity due to Israel's full-fledged blockade on Gaza.
