Hadi says one thing today, says another tomorrow - Nik Nazmi

SHAH ALAM - Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang is perceived as inconsistent as he ordered the party members to withdraw non-Muslim votes through his speech at Pas Annual Muktamar.

Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) vice president Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad had portrayed the Marang Member of Parliament as 'saying one thing today, saying something else tomorrow'.

"Reading Abdul Hadi's latest 'mandate' reminded me of his insult towards non-Malay voters.

"In August last year, he claimed that non-Muslims and non-Bumiputeras are the majority groups that have become a force of destruction of the country's politics and economy.

"It seems that Abdul Hadi is begging for votes from a group that he had previously labelled as destroyer of the country since he has been known for his inconsistent attitude in campaign," he wrote on Facebook today.

In a policy speech at the party's Muktamar in Shah Alam, Hadi reportedly admitted that Pas post-mortem found that they were weak in attracting non-Malay support which had stopped them from gaining sufficient combined seats to form a government.

In the meantime, the Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change Minister stressed that all races and religions need to be involved in the nation-building process to see Malaysia move forward.

"PKR as a multiracial party had never labelled any race as a destroyer of the country.

"I believe that with the various initiatives taken by the unity government, it will give confidence to all voters regardless of race and religion to continue supporting this government," he pointed.
