SHAH ALAM - Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad made his first appearance at the 69th Pas Muktamar today.

Arriving at 10am, he attended as a distinguished guest.

He was welcomed by Perikatan Nasional chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Pas President Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang, and the party's top leadership.

Pas secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan announced Dr Mahathir's presence in his welcoming speech.

For the record, Pas' Muktamar is being held in Shah Alam again after ten years.

The last time the Islamist party held a Muktamar in Shah Alam was in November 2013 at the Malawati Stadium.
