SHAH ALAM — Pas Muslimat will hold elections to contest its top posts during the party's 69th Muktamar.

Its chief Nuridah Mohd Salleh said this was in accordance with the party's constitution, where every two years committee elections are held at every level of the party, from branches to the central level, including all wings.

"The position of President, Deputy President, and Vice Deputy President will be contested for Muslimat, and only 12 individuals will be elected to the new committee," she told a press conference at the Ideal Convention Centre here.

Nuridah added that six nominations have been received by the women's wing so far at the state and district levels.

“One will be discussed, one was accepted without discussion, and four were accepted as suggestions.
