Naomi Campbell walks for Rizman Ruzaini at Dubai Fashion Week
It was a dream come true for fashion-designer duo Rizman Ruzaini who had the honour of dressing legendary supermodel Naomi Campbell and close off their show at the Dubai Fashion Week.
“Dreams do come true”, wrote the duo in an Instagram post of them walking hand in hand with Campbell on the runway.
Campbell, 53, looked sensational in a black dress and a matching bolero jacket, both embellished in crystals.
The Dubai Fashion Week this year marked some notable firsts as Campbell made her official debut on the prestigious runway, and it was also the designers’ first time showcasing their designs at the fashion event.
The designs showcased were for their Spring/Summer 2024 lineup, where it was apparently inspired by the Nusantara folk legend of the Naga Seri Gumum.
The Naga Seri Gumum is about a dragon that slumbers deep under Tasik Chini in the state of Pahang.
Naturally, the post garnered an overwhelming response from followers and fellow industry players who congratulated the duo for the milestone achieved.
Designer Hattadolmat said: “Epic and phenomenal! U both are amazing! Congratulations my dear brother! Fly higher.”
Actress Sazzy Falak wrote: “So amazing! Congratulations my dears!”
Rizman Ruzaini has grown to build a reputation as one of Malaysia’s most illustrious designers, having dressed a plethora of celebrities and VIPs in Malaysia.
