PUTRAJAYA - Low-cost airline company MYAirline, is responsible for making refunds to passengers who have purchased flight tickets but cannot proceed with their travel due to the announcement of the suspension of operations.

The Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) has directed MYAirline to promptly manage affected customers, including notifying them about the suspension of operations through available communication channels.

"MYAirline has also been instructed to cease the sale and reservation of flight tickets immediately from all platforms," they said in a statement today.

The commission said affected passengers should contact the airline for inquiries and assistance regarding their reservations via [email protected].

Mavcom also established a dedicated channel to assist affected customers online at 1800-18-6966 (within Malaysia) or 603-7651 2777 (outside the country), in addition to the email address [email protected].

Meanwhile, Mavcom has disclosed that investigations were ongoing based on internal reviews and complaints received concerning unpaid staffs payments.

"Mavcom will provide further updates regarding MYAirline's operations in the near future," the commission stated.

MYAirline announced the suspension of its operations, which took effect today.
