Batik Air offers assistance to MYAirline passengers affected by flight suspension
SHAH ALAM - In response to the challenges faced by stranded MYAirline passengers, Batik Air has stepped in to lend a helping hand.
Batik Air is offering special fixed fares on selected routes, ensuring that affected travellers can continue their journeys with ease.
"Affected passengers are required to attach a copy of their MYAirline tickets and make the booking through email at [email protected]," it said in a statement, today.
Its one-way all inclusive special fares involved Penang (RM129), Langkawi (RM159), Kuching (RM199), Bangkok and Don Muang (RM 299).
It added that passengers can avail of these one-way inclusive special fares for travel up to Nov 30 and seats were subjected to availability.
Meanwhile, Batik Air and Lion Group Strategic Director Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy said with the challenges passengers were currently facing, the airline aimed to assist them so that they can reach their destinations with ease.

Earlier today, MYAirline Sdn Bhd announced that it has suspended its operations effective today until further notice due to significant financial pressures.
"We deeply regret and apologise for having to make this decision as we understand the impact it will have on our loyal passengers, dedicated employees and partners.
"We have worked tirelessly to explore various partnership and capital-raising options to prevent this suspension. Unfortunately, the constraints of time have left us with no alternative but to take this decision,” its board of directors said.
