SHAH ALAM -The International Trade Union Network Council of Malaysia (UNI-MLC) urges public and private parties to join forces with Rasuah Busters in the mission to fulfill Malaysia's aim to be free of corruption.

Its president Datuk Mohamed Shafie BP Mammal said the advantages and skills of Rasuah Busters in tackling corruption and related issues should be harnessed and utilised for the general good.

He said the cooperation would foster a spirit of synergy in the fight against corruption.

"In my opinion, working with Rasuah Busters has now become a ‘duty', as this team has succeeded in sensitising the public including NGOs (non-governmental bodies), civil servants, statutory bodies and companies (in their anti-corruption mission).

"The role played by the Rasuah Busters is very important and the parties who cooperate will benefit, a lot of information that we have not known until now will be known when we cooperate with this team," he said on Friday.

Rasuah Busters was an initiative that sought to end corrupt and non-political behaviours which had grown into a vibrant brand that was widely acknowledged.

Speaking of Rasuah Busters' most recent initiatives to make the RB E-Learn program a success, Shafie noted that they were timely.

He believed that the programme was a great iniative that needed to be shared.
