Ironman participant and Kiddocare co-founder Mui Mahmud dies
KUALA LUMPUR - The co-founder of the baby care service Kiddocare Sdn Bhd, Muhaini Mahmud, died at the Sultanah Maliha Hospital, Langkawi, on Sunday.
She was 44.
Muhaini, fondly known as Mui, died after she was intubated to receive treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after almost drowning during the Ironman Langkawi Malaysia triathlon championships that took place in Langkawi on Saturday.
This was confirmed by a close family member to Astro Awani.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's daughter, Datuk Nurulhidayah, also shared the sad news on her Facebook page.
"Innalillahiwainailaihirajiun. See you when I see you Mui. I lost one good friend who never fail to wish me Happy Birthday every year and my birthday is just in 2 weeks!
"Kan we promised to makan-makan (to eat) and celebrate 45 years of our 'HOT' achievements," she said. - Awani
