Amizar unveils "Ikhtiar Pelangai" initiative for community outreach, development
BENTONG - Newly minted Barisan Nasional (BN) Pelangai state assemblyman Datuk Amizar Abu Adam has unveiled his "Ikhtiar Pelangai" initiative to benefit community outreach and development in the constituency.
Under the initiative, Amizar said he aims to establish a petrol station and a tahfiz school under the auspices of the Pahang state foundation.
"These community outreach efforts and development initiatives highlight our commitment to improving the quality of life for the residents of Felda Chemomoi and Pelangai, as well as to honour the legacy of Datuk Seri Johari Harun," he said.
Johari was the incumbent assemblyman for Pelangai who perished in a plane crash on Aug 17 in Shah Alam.
Amizar made the announcement during a visit to meet Felda Chemomoi residents on Sunday.
He said he would continue the legacy of Johari and work to improve the lives of the people in Pelangai.
Amizar said he would focus on improving the Felda Chemomoi market and the local field to provide recreational opportunities for the youth in the area.
He also said he would not overlook the importance of road infrastructure, such as the road from Karak to Simpang Pelangai and the roads within the Felda settlements in the area.
