GEORGE TOWN - A man feared missing since Oct 3 after delivering a mobile phone to an unknown customer in Penang had reportedly returned home.

It was confirmed by his aunt on her Instagram, @lameraheyra that Muhammad Daniel Haikal, 27, had safely made his way home.

However, the woman said that her nephew's face and body were in bad condition and that he was still traumatised by what happened.

She also shared a screenshot of Daniel's mother's statement, paying gratitude to the public who had been concerned about her son.

"Alhamdulillah, my son Muhammad Daniel had arrived home safely... Thank you to the lorry driver who saved my child.

"For those who have endlessly been praying for my son, thank you very much. May Allah reward everyone who helped me spread the word about my son," the mother wrote.

Yesterday, Sinar Harian reported that a man had allegedly not returned home in Kuala Lumpur since Oct 3 after delivering a phone to a customer he did not know.

The victim, in his 20s, was allegedly last seen in Penang.
