BN candidate lauds Pelangai voters for civic responsibility
BENTONG - Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Datuk Amizar Abu Adam praised Pelangai voters for their civic responsibility during his visit to the SMK Chemomoi voting centre today.
"I was a former student of SMK Chemomoi, a school that holds a special place in my heart. It is where I studied until Form 5.
"I was impressed by the positivity and sense of civic duty on display today.
"Voters patiently formed long queues, demonstrating a commendable commitment to participating in the electoral process.
"Such dedication exemplifies the best qualities of Malaysian citizens when it comes to voting," he told a press conference here today.
Amizar said that SMK Chemomoi was his first visit of the day.
He added that this election serves as a reminder of the significance of each vote and the responsibility that comes with being a citizen of Malaysia.
SMK Chemomoi is one of the nine polling centres for the state seat.
The Pelangai state seat has a total of 16,456 registered voters.
Amizar is contesting against two other candidates, Kasim Samat from Perikatan Nasional (PN) and independent candidate Haslihelmy DM Zulhasni.
