BENTONG - Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Sanusi Md Nor urges Pelangai voters to vote for Perikatan Nasional (PN) as a signal of dissatisfaction to the administration of the Madani Government.

"The Madani Government is a chaotic administration in Malaysia. Therefore, the people of Pelangai need to send a signal and stop supporting PH.

"You should express your discontent with your votes," Sanusi said in a speech at the Ceramah Mega PN held at Dataran Purnama, Pelangai.

He drew attention to the extensive political career of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who, at 97 years old, possessed an in-depth understanding of the behavior and characteristics of Malaysian leaders.

Sanusi said that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was not trustworthy and claimed that whenever Anwar spoke, he was being dishonest and spreading lies.

"There's not a single honest word that comes out of Anwar's mouth," he said.

Sanusi also criticised Anwar for comparing himself to Nelson Mandela. He urged Anwar not to seek unwarranted comparisons with the revered South African leader.

Meanwhile, on the issue of rice prices, Sanusi pointed out that it was the federal government who controlled and requlated rice prices in the country, not the state government.

He also questioned the reasons behind current rice shortages and the impact of rising rice prices on the Malaysian population, referring to it as a disaster.

"Anwar had pledged to lower oil prices and eliminate the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) debt, but there had been no progress on these fronts.

"Pelangai people, let your votes be a form of reprimand," he said.

Also present at the ‘grand finale’ were former premier Dr Mahathir and PN chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

The Pelangai by-election tomorrow would see a three-cornered fight between Datuk Amizar Abu Adam from Barisan Nasional (BN), Kasim Samat from PN and Independent candidate Haslihelmy DM Zulhasni.
