No cabinet reshuffle tomorrow, says PM

SHAH ALAM - Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says there will not be an announcement of a Cabinet reshuffle tomorrow.

“Nothing (on Cabinet reshuffle)... Belum (not yet),” he said in a brief response to reporters on the matter.

Anwar also said he will be leaving for Sabah and subsequently Abu Dhabi, tomorrow.

It was earlier reported that the Prime Minister was anticipated to announce a Cabinet reshuffle tomorrow nearly 11 months after the formation of the unity government.

Rumours on the Cabinet reshuffle were also going around since last week.

Meanwhile, on the haze situation in the country, he said the government was monitoring the situation daily adding that Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change Minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad has been entrusted to coordinate with his Indonesian counterpart on the transboundary haze.
