KOTA BHARU - Kota Lama Assemblyman Dr Hafidzah Mustakim has dismissed the notion of her easily being triggered, after deciding to pursue legal action against Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Nassuruddin Daud.

Dr Hafidzah said she had handed all matters to her legal team.

She was confident of her decision to pursue the matter, but at the same time she said she was also dedicated to her agenda of developing her constituency.

“I along with Galas Assemblyman Mohd Syahbudin Hasyim would continue to pursue the matter from a legal point of view, now the matter would be handled by the lawyer," she added.

Dr Hafidzah (PH) and Mohd Syahbudin (BN) had each won a state seat in the recent Kelantan state elections.

It had been reported that Nassuruddin had asked Mohd Syahbuddin and Dr Hafidzah to not be easily triggered in politics.

Nassuruddin said the demand for a public apology could only be done if a person had made a false statement and there was no need for apologies if the statement he had made was correct.

Dr Hafidzah has submitted a lawsuit against the Kelantan Menteri Besar who is also the Meranti Assemblyman for his failure to apologise as demanded, regarding his statement labelling Dr Hafidzah and Syahbuddin as being against the Islamic struggle.
