This endeavour is designed to empower local SMEs with tailored financing and digital solutions.
AmBank Group CEO Datuk Sulaiman Mohd Tahir expressed his unwavering commitment to supporting SMEs and simplifying access to financing.
“With SMEs as the backbone of the economy, we will continue to expand and invest heavily in this segment by reimagining how micro, small and medium-sized enterprises could be better served in the markets.
“We stand by our community, implementing comprehensive initiatives and financing options, tailored to fuel their growth and bolster their competitive edge,” Sulaiman said during the press conference.
The suite of offerings encompasses working capital loans, an interest-bearing Business Current Account, cashback benefits with the AmBank Visa Infinite Business Card, and government-assisted financing.
Additionally, Sulaiman introduced a comprehensive Merchant Business Solution for digital payments.
“The launch of ‘AmBank SME Amplify’ is a prominent feature of KLFW Fashion Connect Point 23, where industry trends and challenges in fashion were discussed.”
Meanwhile, AmBank Managing Director Aaron Loo stated his commitment to promoting the growth and sustainability of the fashion industry.
“We are pleased to continue to collaborate with KL Fashion Week in engaging the fashion industry ecosystem.
“Malaysia's rich heritage has created many successful homegrown brands that are becoming increasingly more visible on the global stage, and AmBank will be in a good position to support their growth with SME Amplify.
“Our aim is to support the entire fashion industry value chain, from textiles, manufacturing, retailing and design amongst others, with not just financing but with sharing of information and knowledge that will help them succeed in an increasingly competitive environment,” said Loo.
KLFW Fashion Connect Point 23 serves as a vital platform connecting entrepreneurs in the retail and SME sectors, fostering a sustainable ecosystem within the fashion industry.
