Bus passenger left behind for being one minute late

SHAH ALAM - A passenger was left behind by a private company owned bus after allegedly being late a minute after the scheduled operation period.
The viral 27-second video on TikTok had the man running and calling the driver who had just left the station, but he was ignored.
The unnamed user who uploaded the video stated the incident happened at the Kuala Terengganu City Council (MBKT) station and the bus was headed towards Melaka.
“During the incident, the bus was scheduled to leave at 9pm. A minute after the driver shut the door and I informed the man, but he did not care.
“I pitied him, the driver just left the passenger behind despite him being able to stop,” he said.
The post gained views from the public who were less than satisfied with the actions of the bus driver who was described as having no empathy.
Some TikTok users shared their stories of being left behind and scolded by the same company driver.
The comment section found users thinking the driver may have been angry towards the passenger after he waited for a while.
“He didn’t give a second chance for the passenger, there may be a reason he was late by a minute,” Apang said.
“I’m done taking that bus, I spoke nicely when I got on the bus, even then I was scolded again, it hurts,” Pakk Derr said.
