DUBAI - A baby girl was found alive under the rubble of a building in Libya, four days after the Daniel storm hit the country, as reported by Gulf News.

What's astonishing is that the baby was still attached to her umbilical cord when rescue teams discovered her during a search and rescue operation involving 11,300 storm victims.

A video on social media showed the dedicated rescue teams carefully working through the rubble and successfully locating a crying baby.

When they safely got her out, the baby was covered in dust and debris, which deeply moved the rescuers who had freed her from the building wreckage.

Sadly, no parents or relatives came forward to claim the baby after the video of her rescue went viral.

Some netizens speculated that her family might have perished in the terrible disaster.

After being found, the baby was wrapped in cloth and taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

The Daniel storm caused severe damage in Libya, leading to a humanitarian crisis with tens of thousands of casualties and prompting international aid.
