Yesterday, Chegu Bard was arrested by the police in front of the Pas General Office when he was about to attend a meeting of the Save Malaysia Association.

Previously, Chegu Bard said that the rally which would be held on Sept 16 would continue despite protest from various parties.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail had described the organiser of the rally as disrespecting Malaysia Day.
