100 exhibitors, more than 50 activities at Karnival Pendidikan Sinar Bestari
SHAH ALAM - A total of 100 exhibitors and more than 50 interesting activities await visitors at the Karnival Pendidikan Sinar Bestari which will kick off tomorrow (Friday).
Sinar Karangkraf Group chief executive officer Farah Hussamuddin said among the exhibitors participating in the carnival were the Education Ministry, the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN), Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Petrosains, National Planetarium, AirAsia Academy, Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM), Prisons Department and many more.
"Various activities are also planned including foot marching competitions, dikir barat, basketball, 'Sinar Bestari Got Talent', 'e-games', robotics, crossword puzzle challenge, silat cekak performances, classic motorcycle exhibitions.
"What is even more interesting is that there will also be the Karangkraf Warehouse Sale and SinarPlus food festival with around 40 traders joining," she told Sinar yesterday.
Farah said the carnival in collaboration with the Selangor Education Department (JPNS) will be officiated by Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek tomorrow.
"The minister will officiate the programme at 3pm on Sept 8 before attending the Town Hall Rakyat programme organised by Sinar Harian which is open to the public at the Karangkraf Complex hall," she said.
Farah said the carnival which was a mega event would bring three different programmes to attract more visitors.
"Don't miss out on the main attractions of Karnival Pendidikan Sinar Bestari where there will be the Rumah Hantu Buku Prima (ghost house) and the Space Dome displaying four-dimensional (4D) animations.
"The event will take place for three days from Friday. Besides students, the carnival also focuses on parents and the community," she said.
