Galas assemblyman reminds Kelantan MB not to give up easily
KOTA BHARU - Galas State Legislative Assemblyman Mohd Syahbuddin Hashim has advised Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud not to be quick to give up, as he had previously mentioned to him.
This message follows his request for an apology from the top leader before taking legal action.
The Menteri Besar had allegedly labeled both him and the Kota Lama assemblyman as opposing the Islamic cause.
"The notice from the Menteri Besar was received last Monday," he told Sinar when contacted today.
He also mentioned that his lawyer would handle the legal proceedings.
On Tuesday, Mohd Nassuruddin had also filed a lawsuit against the Galas assemblyman and the Kota Lama assemblyman over accusations of slander, particularly the nature of takfiri.
Kelantan Umno Chairman Datuk Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub was also sued on the same issue.
Prior to this, Mohd Nassuruddin had been asked to publicly apologise to the Galas State Assembly representatives, Kota Lama representatives, and the voters of Barisan Nasional (BN) and Pakatan Harapan (PH) within seven days.
This request for an apology came after Mohd Nassuruddin was accused of labeling the two representatives as opposing the Islamic cause during a lecture at Medan Ilmu.
