Mat Sabu‘s accusation on Pas rejecting DAP not new – Sanusi

ALOR SETAR – Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor said the revelation made by Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) President Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu regarding Pas rejection of DAP is out of date.

He said Amanah is turning old issues into new revelations when the fact is that the history of the issue has long been known to the public.

He said what Mohamad claimed was also just an accusation.

"I think the party (Amanah) is at the end of its life. So, they try to find a new breath.

"The matter (the issue of DAP's rejection) cannot even help Amanah to provide oxygen. There is no oxygen (to extend their lifespand)," he said in a press conference after chairing the Exco Meeting at Wisma Darul Aman here, on Wednesday.

On Monday, Mohamad claimed that Pas decided to cooperate with DAP because it wanted to establish a unity government with Umno and that matter was agreed upon during Pas Summit discussions in 2015.

The revelation made in the speech in Muar claimed that Pas cut ties with DAP not because of hudud but rather to establish cooperation with Umno.

Sanusi who is also the Kedah Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman insisted that the matter no longer needed to be explained repeatedly because all the answers were already available before.

"All the answers are already there. He said he would make a disclosure, look around there is nothing.

"Something that already has an answer, that is not something new. It is all accusations. Mat Sabu has also become history," he said.
