Nestlé's KitKat presents its newest limited-edition KitKat Salted Caramel Cookies
With a fusion of flavours and an unexpected texture, Nestlé's KitKat presents its newest limited-edition KitKat® Salted Caramel Cookies, promising to take customers on a new multi-sensorial chocolatey delight journey.
This new variety combines KitKat's famous crispy wafer, rich milk chocolate, and incredibly crunchy caramelised cookie crumbs, and is perhaps the most anticipated product from KitKat in Malaysia throughout the year.
Global food trends have changed dramatically over time as people seek out new and exciting ways to indulge in this satisfying activity. When examining the confectionery market, customers were very fond of cookies and caramel flavour, as seen by their placement in the Top 10 most sought-after flavours in Asia Pacific.
The Nestlé Confectionery Business Executive Officer Carlota Casellas said that they took inspiration from the latest market insights and trends, especially from Generation Zs, who are the most forthcoming in expressing their aspirations for unique food experiences.
“KitKat® has reinvented our chocolatey fingers, combining cookies with salted caramel together with our signature crispy wafer to create this sensational new limited-edition flavour!” he added.
To celebrate the launch of the new flavour, KitKat held a five-day roadshow in IOI City Mall Putrajaya, with tonnes of fun activities which ran from Aug 9 to 13, were treated to performances by artists such as Empty Page, ChlyPdy, Heidi Moru, and Hallos Band, in addition to exclusive deals on KitKat merchandise.
The two talented dessert painters from JUNANDUS, a renowned premium bakery in KL, who led a class on dessert decoration, were definitely the event's high point. They made some delicious cupcakes to show off how flexible the chocolate is, using the KitKat Salted Caramel Cookies.
In addition to enjoying them, visitors to the roadshow had the opportunity to try their hand at decorating cupcakes with KitKat Salted Caramel Cookies.
