ALOR SETAR - Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor confirms no large celebration programmes were organised by Perikatan Nasional (PN) in Johor to celebrate him last week.

He said the viral video which showed a celebration related to him was false.

Sanusi said the video had nothing to do with him despite it having been edited by a certain party by including the 'Welcome Kedah MB in Johor'.

"The video has nothing to do with me, I've never seen the viral video before," he said.

The PN Election director sent the viral TikTok video to the police for investigations to be done.

Johor police on Monday denied there was a celebration organised for Sanusi.

Its police chief Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat said investigations found the alleged video was related to the KL Munajat programme at Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur on July 15.

The video was edited to include the chant 'expand your power in Johor' to be shared with other social media users.
