Hadi during a press conference at Pulai PN office today.
He said the victory would pave the way for a referendum by the people, signaling a significant potential for a change in government.
"Some argue that the Pulai by-election is insignificant because it is small. But it holds deep meaning because the winning MP will speak for us (PN) in Parliament.
"Furthermore, as PN holds a substantial number of seats in Parliament, the government could change at any time. We need this additional seat and several more (seats)," he said during a public dialogue session at Pulai Pas office, today.
He urged Umno members to be aware as the government could change any time.
Also present were Bersatu Deputy President Datuk Radzi Jidin; Pas Deputy Secretary-General and Bachok MP Syahir Che Sulaiman, PN Johor chief Datuk Dr. Sahruddin Jamal and PN Pulai candidate Zulkifli Jaafar.
In the Aug 12 state elections in six states, Hadi claimed that PN's victory could see a change at the federal level. In the 15th general elections, PH held the most seats in Parliament with 82, followed by PN with 73, while BN only had over 30 seats.
Hadi, who is also the PN Deputy Chairman said the momentum of PN wave was being felt in the Pulai by-election and the Simpang Jeram state seat, based on the response of voters during campaign speeches and door-to-door campaigns.
"So far, the progress has been positive, with the response from voters being excellent when we (PN) hold speeches and house-to-house campaigns," said Hadi.
