Man hits sex worker after 'unsatisfactory service'
AHMAD AQMAL AHMAD RAHMANSHAH ALAM - A Malaysian man in Singapore was sentenced to six weeks in prison for hitting a sex worker after unsatisfactory services.
Channel News Asia (CNA) reported that the man, Goh Jun Liang, 28, pleaded guilty to causing injuries to the victim.
It was reported that the court was informed that the Malaysian citizen worked as a packager for a pharmaceutical company.
Goh found the advertisement for sex services that displayed a price of SGD$120 (around RM445) while browsing the internet and arranged the meeting.
The victim had rendered sex at the man’s home at 8pm and received the money, but after asking for a ‘second round’ Goh felt that the services were unsatisfactory.
The public prosecutor stated that he had asked for the money to be returned by force.
"It was unsatisfactory, and he decided to take the money back from the victim by force," the public prosecutor was quoted as saying in Harian Metro.
Goh had taken a metal bottle from his side table and hit the woman on her back while she turned to take back the money.
Goh continued to hit the victim until she returned the SGD$260 (around RM890) to him.
A police report was lodged after the victim, who suffered injuries to her shoulder and had continued headaches, contacted her friend and refused to seek further treatment.
