SHAH ALAM - Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's son-in-law Datuk Seri Muhammad Adlan Berhan and lawyer Mansoor Saat have been added to Interpol's Red Notice list, which is a request to law enforcement agencies worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest a person pending extradition.

The news was confirmed by Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain to Utusan Malaysia.

"The Red Notice has been issued against both individuals," he said.

On Aug 15, Razarudin said the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) made a verbal request for the Red Notice for Adlan and Mansoor.

He also said the police would work closely with MACC to bring home the wanted duo.

Adlan and Mansoor are being sought by MACC to assist in an investigation into a project involving the registration, recruitment and storage of foreign worker biometric data at a ministry.

MACC said they had left the country in May.

However, both Adlan and Mansoor subsequently issued statements through their lawyers, denying that they are on the run from the law.
