Partially nude belly dancers spotted in KL, sparks netizens’ outrage

SHAH ALAM – A video of belly dancers performing at Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur has been circulated on social media, which sparked outrage among netizens.

The video, shared on TikTok showcases a group of women who were partially nude dancing to music in an open area.

The dancing trend known as the “ki dance re vhai”, was part of a performance during an event held in the area.

TikTok users have questioned how such event could take place in an Islamic country like Malaysia.

A user @azeedyshaari said, “What happened to our country,” in the comment section.

Meanwhile, another user @Yusliani said, “I can’t really believe it happened in KL,” she expressed in the comment section.
