MUAR – The people, especially the young people, need to understand the current political scenario in this country so that they can make wise choices in the future.

According to Perikatan Nasional (PN) Elections Director Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, the sentiment concerning the matter is hoped to be 'reached' and understood by the people.

"This understanding is essential to ensure that voters do not support a party fanatically and blindly.

"This already happened when a party expressed blind support and bigotry of people in the north and east coast causing PN to win (in Terengganu, Kelantan and Kedah).

"This happens because people do not understand the current political scenario that needs changes in order to make changes," he said.

Sanusi said this while speaking at the Machinery Launching Ceremony and PN Candidate Declaration for the Pulai Parliamentary by-election and Simpang Jeram State Assembly at Pas Bakri headquarters yesterday night.

Also presentwere Pas deputy president Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, Pas secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan and Pas =vice-president Datuk Seri Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar.
