Shell App equipped with 3-D Secure now available at 650 petrol stations

SHAH ALAM - Shell Malaysia has launched the country's first mobile payment app for fuel, known as the Shell App, which is equipped with the 3-D Secure security verification system to ensure users are protected from cyber fraud threats.

Mobility Malaysia Managing Director Seow Lee Ming, stated that the app was designed to enhance the refueling experience at Shell by allowing more convenient and secure in-car payments.

He mentioned that app users also have the advantage of being able to locate nearby Shell stations and the facilities they offer, such as prayer rooms, ATMs, Shell cafes, or car wash centers.

"The Shell App is now available at 650 of our petrol stations and is expected to be available nationwide by the end of 2023.

Furthermore, the Shell App offers personalized promotions and deals, allowing users to track their spending and accumulated BonusLink points.

"Customers can now redeem their favorite fuel or croffle while collecting BonusLink points through the Shell App.

Users can earn BonusLink points from 3,000 merchants and simultaneously redeem exclusive rewards from Shell," he explained.
