Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2023 kicks off to a glamorous start
Fashion week in Malaysia has officially begun as Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2023 (KLFW) kicked off with day one at Sofitel Damansara.
Celebrating its 11th year, KLFW takes a unique pinch by hosting it differently across seven venues for each day of the week. Typically, the fashion show is held at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
Day one fashion was focused on highlighting local fashion talent by four designers namely Tangoo, Doube U, Elleadelic and MMClot.
Malaysian Official Designers Association (MODA) took the runaway with show-stopping designs, followed by Tangoo collections with vibrant floral collections, modernised baju kurung and cheongsam.
With over 30 models and designs, Double U's collection captured the audiences' attention as the models are from young to elderly, the runaway also showcased shades of brown, copper, green, and blue.
KLFW also provided a platform for a new fashion designer, Elleadelic who debuted its collection on the prestigious runway.
KLFW is an event that focuses on the Malaysian industry, providing emerging young designers and renowned designers and giving recognition to Malaysia-made fashion and retail items.
