SHAH ALAM - Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari commenced his first day of duty as the Selangor Menteri Besar at the State Secretary Building (SUK) here today.
Dressed in an all-grey suit, he arrived at the building accompanied by Selangor State Secretary Datuk Haris Kasim as well as state civil servants.
Symbolically, Amirudin then used a time card to "punch in" to enter his office at 8am.
Yesterday, the Sungai Tua state assemblyman was sworn in as the 17th Selangor Menteri Besar.
The appointment and oath-taking ceremony were conducted in the presence of the Selangor Sultan, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah at the Alam Shah Palace in Klang.
