Mahsuri Dagang commercial chief Mohd Jazri Ikmal Hijaz said they welcomed the campaign and encouraged Malaysians to welcome it as well.
"This campaign for me is very good. It comes at the right time as the Independence Month has arrived.
"Something good should be supported. Say good and positive things, and I'd also like to remind all of us to free ourselves from corruption," he told Sinar Harian today.
He shared the message at the Mahsuri Dagang office.
This campaign was held to encourage Malaysians to say positive things to each other and also about their country.
#SaySomethingNice is a simple campaign that people can creatively engage in, in their daily activities.
This campaign will stimulate Malaysians to express their love for their country and at the same time, ignite the patriotic spirit and unity across all walks of life.
On the other hand, Jazril was also honoured to collaborate with Rasuah Busters in an anti-corruption campaign for Malaysia.
He pointed out that the anti-graft campaign was in line with the company's charter.
"We strongly agree and welcome this movement for the benefit of our society. It has to start from every individual and if we do not curb this (corruption practice), it can spread across various groups of society.
"So Rasuah Busters' mission is to develop a value system and is also a mission from the people for the people to restore and form a transformation of Malaysia's integrity by eliminating these moral decay which is in line with our company's anti-corruption practice," he shared.
Commenting further, Jazril stressed that the company was extremely sensitive of the damage brought about by such practice.
Therefore, they had introduced various approaches to curb such crime.
"As a company based in Malaysia, we have been practising an anti-corruption standard operating procedures (SOP) for a long time. For example, all our new staff would go through an induction course on corruption.
"Besides that, we had set for instance, that we can only accept as much as RM50 only in gifts or any forms of incentives. More than that, they would need to disclose it, if they were dealing with our vendors. So we always remind our staff not to take corruption lightly," he said.
In order to prevent such offence, they will always multiply their effort by renewing the value system for their employees.
"Like the existing staff, every year, they will be called for a training on battling corruption and every year they are required to undergo a course to remind themselves of our anti-corruption policy," he said.
